My guess this could cost Florida tons of money, this is not a great deal for Florida either.

They get a home game next year because of this shite. The same home game we are losing next year.

They might not get paid for 10/8.... I am unsure if the insurance will even pay out for that.

So they are losing revenue for two home games.

evidence of a good compromise is that both sides feel slightly screwed.

We lost south Alabama game and have 5 sec road games next year. Not a win.

Its an even for LSU considering the situation... and a loss for Florida because they lost two home games for no reason.... and they might not even be able to collect for 10/8 and they have to pay the buyout.

The win is that we didnt get royally screwed without any consideration. I feel that this isnt a perfect solution but it is the best outcome with the cards that have been dealt.

well for one they got to rest and heel their injured players and for #2, they knew LSU was coming to them on a high level of emotion. LSU really did get screwed

they also lost an additional home game this year when they could have avoided all of it by playing last Sunday.
