If the link talks about our game in Cuba I thought that was pretty widely known?

It is not a secret, but very few people know it.

Pretty interesting...I have not heard of this.

Just because you didn't know it doesn't mean most people didn't already know it

There is a poster on the wall at the original Raising Cane's that talks about this game.

New history to a younger generation. Despite what you stated, not all of the younger generation are know-it-all's, yet.

LimpB ...
I knew it ... but most people are not aware of it ...certainly not that it was the first game outside the US for college football....
and BTW I knew it, I am from Cuba... stop pounding your chest as if you know it all.

Agreed. I definitely already knew that. Knew it a long time ago in fact.

yes it was the first American football game outside the US. Back in the days of early football the host team would pick the rules used to play for the day. Michigan played in Canada one time before the LSU game, but the rules to play were rugby or soccer and that brings up how does Michigan get to count many of those early ruby and soccer victories that no other school I know of count them as American football victories?
Michigan also counts a lost to a team as a win, as they played two plays after the umpire had called the game and the other team left the field. The first play went for a td and then the extra point try was also played without the other team on the field. By rule at the time once the umpire called the game the game is over.
I know a lot about early American football due to all the studying on Carlisle, Michigan, Vanderbilt, Tulane, Baylor, etc to look into the 1908 LSU team.

we should claim this as a natty tbh. pre poll era, undefeated and it's national championship foundation, not a retroactive poll.

This game marked the first time a football team from a North American college traveled to Cuba to play a Cuban team.
That's pretty awesome.
