Toughie. I'll go pessimistically under with a reverse psych job on myself.

Hmmm.

-Auburn & UF worry me for the obvious reason. Road games.
-Having Ole Miss right before a BYE looks like a trap game. Also, Ole Miss always plays us to the wire. Hopefully this group doesn't overlook them like last years team.
-Playing in College Station on thanksgiving night for the first time. Kyle Field will be rocking for this one.

You think?

Since LSU football has averaged 10.2 wins a yr for the last 14 yrs, I'll go with over.

8-4 regular season followed by the Who Gives a shite Bowl in December. Les will be able to watch Bama or Auburn in the playoff.

Wisconsin (at Houston, Reliant Stadium) TBA
Sep 6 Sam Houston State TBA
Sep 13 UL Monroe TBA
Sep 20 Mississippi State TBA
Sep 27 New Mexico State TBA
Oct 4 @Auburn TBA
Oct 11 @Florida TBA
Oct 18 Kentucky TBA
Oct 25 Ole Miss TBA
Nov 1 Open TBA
Nov 8 Alabama TBA
Nov 15 @Arkansas TBA
Nov 22 Open TBA
Nov 27 @Texas A&M

Only question marks I see are AU,Fl, and Bama

TX a&m lost their talent and they couldn't beat us w him.
At Arky always is a close game.
They won't be looking past Ole Piss this year
Opener w Wisky will have their attention.

D will be better than last
O is a ?? w QB and WR

I say 2 loss Les will strike again and get his 10 wins.

why does it always seem everyone thinks playing on the road on this day hurts us more, yet then it makes Tiger Stadium more subdued...

Im taking over though. This group has a lot of potential especially if these big time freshman come in and really live up to expectations. Id take over without huge freshman contributions but if some do end up breaking the depth chart by winning spots not from injuries to starters, watch out my friends.

This comes down to Fournette and Jennings. If they play well its over and LSU will be in the hunt for it all. Im optimistic but not quite ready to ante up. The first game may decide this one.

I just don't like the idea of playing on a Thursday night. Same reason why I've never liked playing Arkansas at 1pm on a Friday. Games are always closer than expected and sometimes we look sluggish.
