there was a home game vs. Bama (I think this was during Saban's tenure) where this one play was really bizarre - I was at the game so I never heard what happened until after -

Bama punted (or kick off) to us, we make a modest return, nothing big. The LSU player hands the ball to the ref, next thing you know, the refs are signaling 1st down for Bama. They have a conference while all of TS freaks out...then the refs apparently rely on the replay screen and return possession to LSU.

Everybody remembers that horrible call, buy the sad part is that it wasn't even the worst call in that game. The worst call was when Hester caught a short pass in the flats for a first down then turned to run up field and took two steps (obviously had possession, and made a football move) then fumbles it out of bounds. They called a it a catch and a fumble on the field, like it should have been. They go to the replay and then overturn it even though the replay only reinforced the call on the field. Naturally it kills the drive. Mother fricking zebras. I am still pissed about this nearly 10 years later. That is when it became obvious to me the conspiracy by the SEC refs and it has only been strengthened since then.
