dude, I wasn't initially pissed about the O hire. after seeing this team so far, hearing about the meddling with Canada, the lack of discipline, lack of effort, fatigue, disarray of team chemistry, the ad/coaches meeting, players only meeting, buyouts, interview "process" and the overall malaise/apathy and despair of the fanbase, I gotta call it like it is- ONE HUGE MISTAKE THAT COULD SET US BACK 5 YEARS.

I agree with this post - you've got to remember, tRant does not represent most fans. This is the fanatical fringe. They won't like hearing this but its true. I've seen this pattern for big time college programs a ton just in my lifetime and the future is completely unknown. I cringe every time I read some idiot who thinks they know what's gonna happen. Hope we execute the about face and expose everyone for the idiots that they are! Oh - and downvotes are welcome from this bunch of know-it-alls.

Do you really have to be a know-it-all to suggest a career 10-25 HC who was OM worst coach ever and had led LSU to 2 historic losses in his first 5 games isn’t the right hire?
Are you seeing a bunch of positives in this team, program and HC that I may have missed?

Really just beyond absurd comparison especially considering the state of both programs at the time of taking over.
Orgeron proved he was incompetent for the job not only with his abysmal history as the worse coach in OM history but also last year at the FL game. Never even been an average coordinator, ala Canada, let alone shown head coach ability expect for winning some interim games against bad teams.
Alleva needs to be fired after allowing this to happen.
