I have noticed this guy consistently waves to the opposing pitcher during every pitch. He does this for every game. Does anyone know what this is all about?

Noticed him as well. He sticks with it as annoying as it is.

Glad I'm not the only one that's been wondering wtf, noticed a few weeks ago and sure enough there he is most games.

Also saw that birdman made the list; so one day this fella just decided that "what the hell, I'll just go to the ball games and make some bird sounds" and stuck with it.

I was just telling my wife during the Thursday game that that guy aggravated the crap out of me.

Kyle Peterson singled him out last night. Between the mention on TD and ESPN, he's gonna be famous soon.

Gee, that makes me wonder why the opposing teams fans, behind the goal, stand up and wave while a player is shooting a foul shot? I just can't grasp the concept.

As aggravating as he is, he doesn't come close to the Vanderbilt whistler. I can't watch the vandy games because of that guy.

Just so you know , the guy is on a full band scholarship, as is his brother Mary ,and is an All American flute player. His brother plays the piccolo for 'Bama, and is all SEC.

I'm not surprised that he is a "flute" player.

I'm also not surprised that there are a lot of piccolos at Bama.

I met the whistling bastard last year up in Omaha, he's definitely not college aged.

And to think I passed on the chance to kill him and end the suffering of CB fans everywhere....I hang my head at lost opportunities to be a super hero like "waving guy"

The waving guy behind the plate must not have any friends. If he did one would have told him by now "hey you look like a moron. You're not affecting the pitcher at all so stop!

He's done this since last season. I don't see how it annoys y'all. I have no problem with it.

He's actually a great guy. And yes- a very good medical oncologist.

Getting in their head Paul D. Good stuff, yet another to add to the list of things/people/places in the ballpark.
