I know a lot of fans on the rant wanted Les' head but even though I agree the game seems to be passing led by to literally run the guy out of town would have been terrible on our part. I believe he did deserves one more year. And it probably saved this awesome recruiting class that this team desperately needs since most of you refuse to acknowledge we are thin, young, and rebuilding. Running the guy out of town that most recruits today identify as the face of LSU football may have caused future recruits to have a anti-LSU sentiment ain't made the job of the new hc an uphill battle no matter who he was

he is the most frustrating coach in the entire world.

he benefits on winning on talent vs inferior teams, even the hard way.. but he makes ZERO adjustments against equally talented teams to win..

it's going to be so frustrating yet again next season.. i hate it so much. he takes the fun and enjoyment out because he is unwilling to change.

You're "running him out of town" with millions in his bank account as a parting gift.

2012 #14, 2013 #14, 2014 unranked, 2015 unranked.

We shouldnt be doing any right things by any coach. Les Miles is not more important than LSU football. If he had been fired, as I am sure you know, his severance would have been completely fair to him.

Sorry, but I didn't see anything "right" about how this was handled.

True....but how many more recruits you think we lose if he's dumped on his arse. The players love the guy so let him work to keep this class together so that the next coach can have a deep, young team to work with

I've heard some people say recently that Miles has been treated "wrong" in this situation.

I think there are a lot of people in the World who are treated wrong, but as far as I can see, Les Miles isn't one of them.

Myopic/attention-relative value systems that place emphasis on reverence/adoration of a millionaire authority figure, I guess.

I don't know what was going on with all the "sources" and "leaks" and whatnot, but I think this situation just shows how ridiculously gossipy and phony message boards and members of the media are (not that I thought differently before this BS).
