Let's do it like we did in the 1920s!

“Finding a tiger is not the problem.”
- apparently that it is a problem because after all this time all they have is this
quote:

“We have some leads,”

with the goal to have a new live mascot on campus by the time football season starts in September.
- that is administrative speak for;

unless divine intervention steps in we won't have a Tiger mascot for our home opener.

Otherwise, this is how the comments should have gone. We have located a Tiger and now all we are waiting on is his facility renovations and as soon as those are completed our new Mike will be on campus.

And after all this time that is exactly what they should be saying, anything less means they are still trying to figure things out!

Alexander said there are only about 4,000 tigers in the wild around the world

What does this have to do with anything? We aren't getting the tiger from the wild

Would love to see LSU take in multiple tigers and give them a great environment to live and breed.

Why would a tree-hugger/conservationist not want this to happen when there are only a few thousand tigers in the wild?

It's not about the species are about facts. It's about them.
