LSU Defense is just Filthy

They played and dominated the game from start to finish. We only gave up 177 yards to WVU who has multiple dynamic players. Our fans need to realize that is our game, strong D and the power run game. This team will go far this year. I see us beating UF in two weeks.

We will not be able to win a championship without a vertical passing game.
EVERYBODY KNOWS OUR D will be top 3.
Last night we went to a set I've never seen before. We man up on the WRs had 3 DL, 2 LBs on the outside, and we put PP in the Middle of the field and said guard this.

I agree, but it is what it is. We are just not strong at the QB position.

I would take a bad passing offense at this point.

This D is in my opinion on par or better than our 2003 D
If we only had some offense to score pts, we would win the NC.

Think how much better they could be if they got to rest some because the offense put together a few sustained drives.

Imagine if the offense could sustain long scoring drives and keep the defense fresh.
I was pleased with the offense when they had that 7 minute drive. Could have ended a little better, but we need to be a run 1st team. We need to get Shep, Ridley, Blue, etc going. Then mix the TEs and WRs in play action bundles. We're really struggling to find out identity. Seems like every offensive possession, Crowton is playing roulette to pick a play.

we dont need a lights out offense either. if we could just be average we would be able to play with anyone in the country and I would actually be thinking undefeated season possibly.
But our offensive and defensive units are polar opposites as far as productivity goes.
