DL recruiting would improve, play would improve, but so would our chances of getting put on probation.

I see him quite a bit at my gym in Mandeville. He wouldn't even have to move.

Who has been placed on probation because of Orgeron?

I know that USC was on probation, but was it because of him?

Just wondering his actual record. Ole Miss did not go on probation when he was head coach. Tennessee didn't either after his time there.

No one, but everyone believes it.

At this point, I'm willing to bury the hatchet if it means we can return to dominant DL play. It sometimes doesn't even feel like I'm watching LSU anymore.

As a life-long LSU fan, I can take an anemic offense. I am used to it.

I cannot stand a jello pudding defense like we have now. It is disgusting.

It is as though we have no Defensive middle at all.

FYI Frank Wilson was on his staff at Ole Miss and people here always called him dirty before we hired him, but I expect people have washed that from their conscience.

Can you elaborate on this for the folks on here that maybe have no clue what you talking about? LSU and Orgeron had/have beef?

Fricking this. Remember when we had MSU backed up on the goal line? Dak was in shotgun and stood in a clean pocket because we had no pass rush. They had no fear of a safety because we were dominated up front.

I'd take him. The man can recruit. LSU would clean up on the recruiting trail with him and Frank Wilson on staff.

I think he either wants D coord. at a big school or head coach at a small school. I don't think he's interested in a small role.

Oh, I don't know. It's just that a lot of LSU fans hate him. I've heard very vague rumblings about some bad blood, but I don't recall anything specific, and may just be making that up.

We were DLU and sent all those DL to the NFL and now you jumping off the wagon already? It will come back and give it time! It will come back fast if they can get Valentine on the field!

That's all done. The power five conferences are effectively self-regulating now.

It wouldn't be too much of a stretch. I know he's said he wants a head coaching job, but I figure a DL/co-recruiting coordinator is better than sitting our another year.

Wouldn't be surprised if he gets the Kansas job or takes over at whichever school gets their coach taken by Michigan.
