Brandon Harris...
"(After the Auburn game) I dealt with a high ankle sprain that lingered throughout the season," Harris said. "I'm now 100 percent healthy after rehabbing the right way.

"I'm the only thing holding myself back, and held myself back last season Now I realize that."

So now it's apparent that Harris was slowed with an injury. Probably the team kept that under wraps so that, if they needed to play him, opponents would not know he was immobile.

So you're accusing him of lying?

It was apparent that he was not up to speed on the play calling. For him to admit it is encouraging.

We need to fire Javi anyway. He was somehow responsible.

I think the coaches deserve a raise. 8-5 with a Music City Bowl Runner Up is a damn strong season!

The only reasonable course of action.

Did anyone say this?

I'm pretty sure the point of this thread is to show the idiots in this fanbase and on this board that Harris wasn't in a dog house and the coaches weren't intentionally sabotaging the team by starting an inferior player (because that's what many people have said).

my only problem with this is why did he play in the kentucky game and bama game if he was hurt? granted he didn't play much, but he did get in

Well, a high ankle sprain is like a lot of injuries; sometimes it seems healed, but you need to test it to find out. Maybe it was okay in practice but tweaked in a game. Hell, I don't know.

The real point of this thread is that coaches have so much more data than us. Rarely do we see NFL performances, by our underused players, that substantiate our complaints that they should have played more.

If he was truly hurt, Les wouldn't have kept saying he would play

Certainly he would. he wants our opponent to have to game plan for him.

Did you actually think about this before you hit submit?

I'm not saying he didn't indeed sprain his ankle. I just don't think that is truly what kept him off the field

I agree with the OP that the coaches do know what they are doing. However, I doubt BH's high ankle sprain was the reason he didn't play. BH was a true freshman, and AJ probably gave the team the best chance of winning each game last year. That may be different in 2015.

He also admitted he didn't know what he should have known to get playing time. Mentioned about having to ask a tackle what play it was and so on.

Oo wait I am sure Les made him say that to cover for him right?
