After reading all the delusional threads on here about a new coach I have one question. Has LSU ever hired a high profile big name coach in the history of the school?

Bill Arnsparger was 7-28 as a NFL coach and 26-8-2 as a college coach, big name not he just had NFL experienced and he was not good in the NFL.
