We all feel like the season is over, but we lost our 1st game to a non-conference opponent. The fact is that we still have one of the most talented rosters in the nation and can win the rest of our games, but it's not happening with Les as coach. He was given a chance to change, and it was the same old Les. No sense of urgency, confusion getting the plays in, predictable play calling, easy to defend formations. I think most of us feel that Miles is out the door. If so, why waste the last year of Fournette, Beckwith, White, Adams (likely) etc?

You have more to lose keeping Les at this point. I appreciate the man he is, his character...it's not personal, but he's no longer the best guy for the job.

How would losing your coach, likely most recruits, and probably most of your games salvage the season?

Running a shotgun and 3 wide receiver sets isn't a new system. It's part of it. We saw that vs Texas Tech. You don't have to be Baylor, but we are more than capable of spreading the field and playing with tempo. The best the offense looked all season was the last game. Their defense sucked, but the point is that we have the personnel to not only do it, but thrive.

Don't forget Cameron. Craig could be OC.

The sooner we boot Miles the better. Gives us a chance to land a big name. Needs to be done before bowl season begins for sure. The question is can our administration actually make a good hire to replace him

I called for that Saturday. Craig would be perfect for Harris too, or Etling if we go that route. Cam struggled getting the plays in. There was no real organization.

Wish I had a dollar every time I heard that.

Team would rally around an interim.

Give it to Ed O.

Aranda a candidate for next year but hopefully will work with Herman and O stays on.

Miles lost team in first half.

Will be worse now with all th media killing Les

I agree that it must happen now. Les had his chance to change things. He had all summer to put in a new offense, he refused to do it. That tells me more than anything that he wants to stick it to us one more time. He does not deserve one more season! Having said that, you loosen the reins on our offensive guys and see how they play. it won't be worse than what we see now and at least teams won't know what we're doing.

Count how many guys they had in the box. They knew they had to defend 2 guys at the sidelines the whole game. Nothing from a third receiver, nothing over the middle.

No. A new coach can't make us suddenly get better. Our players are average.

and we win a coupla games and we won't. fans are damn fickle.

firing les miles right now is the surest way to tanking the whole season. the players will tank, I GUARANTEE IT. and all the assts will be spending their time looking for other jobs.

you seem to not know how things work; how old are you? grown men don't run from problems, they stand up like a man and solve them. the season end is the time for deciding next year.
