Not giving any validation to the teams losing ways this year... but next year when we start the talk of "SEC is made up of Kentucky and a bunch of losers" lets remember this years elite eight and that three came from the SEC.
Might not have much depth, but the SEC ain't all bad.

Arkansas could've well been there also. Refs bailed UNC out.

SEC is 10-2 in the tournament. Hopefully we'll be part of that success sooner rather than later.

is it possible for Wade to recruit out West? Seems like some studs come from there. But i guess Gonzaga, Zona, UCLA and Oregon shut that area down.

Yep and Vandy's loss was a right down to the wire thriller too.

Not to mention the SEC went 5-5 against the Big-12 in the SEC/Big12 Challenge, even with us being one of the 10 SEC teams participating. The Big 12 was considered either to be the best or second best conference in the country by most every matrix and by most analysts.

And I think with the influx of good coaches that have come in recent years starting to see some fruits of their labor, it will only continue to improve.
