Not sure how long it is, I requested tickets for this season and received an email thanking and informing me that there was a 98% retention of season tickets. Doesn't matter how long that list is with a retention rate like that, lol

I'm not even mad, this is just another characteristic of the greatest fan base in college baseball.

I got tickets for the first time last year with a TAF ranking around 8,000. I'm sure I was one of the last ones though.

I somehow got season tickets several seasons back in right field without even being in TAF. I believe this is my 3rd season having them now.

My family has had tickets for over 20 years but I am ready to just get my own. Can I benefit in any way with my family having them for so long?

I called the ticket office and they put me in touch with TAF, who then pushed for me to join and give $5k/year. Seems silly to me.

I know the retention is high but there has to be an easier way to get them, right?

With a retention rate at 98% it appears the only people who don't renew, are the fans who die in the offseason.

Have your family apply for more tickets. Several families have tickets scattered around, should be able to help get you the option.

Don't know how it works in baseball...but in football the # of tickets individually held is limited, as of a number of years ago. i.e. can't have more than 8 total in the No. and So. endzones and 8 total on the east/west sidelines.
"grand-fathered" seats were NOT subject to the new limitations, but, unless you're a TAF mega contributor, I'm sure they can't add more...."business" accounts...I have no idea

Could my dad do this when he renews in the fall? Or would he only be able to apply and possibly not get them? We have two and I'd only want to add two for me. I'll definitely try this out though.

New tickets are now based solely on TAF rankings, NOT on the number of existing tickets one holds.

That figure is just for grandstand seats. Only a few singles are available in the grandstand each year. There's more than 2% available in the uncovered bleachers.
