People seem to forget that this is officially a South Carolina home game. Our band is playing their songs because USCe couldn't bring their band on such short notice. We'd do the same thing for Bama if Tuscaloosa was going through what Columbia is right now.

its a nice gesture, however we aren't doing anything that any other school in the conference would do. I've been told that Tennessee plays opposing conference teams fight songs during their pregame set every week. can someone who's been to Neyland Stadium confirm?
we're playing our part. but once kickoff happens, its still Death Valley, where opponents dreams come to die.

Same. I may dislike their team, but if they needed help I'd totally support that, especially if it was their band. Good bands support and respect each other even when our teams play.

It's a moot point because the SEC HQ would NEVER sanction a game where the Gumps had to relocate to Baton Rouge. They would pull their typical BS ad probably credit the Gumps for a win without even playing the game.
