Avery Peterson
Trey LMFAO
Clifton Garrett
Valentine
Cutrer

Quite a list if you think about how much love those guys got coming out of high school. Hopefully that's the end of it. If there's a silver lining its that we won't have to "process" anyone. Seems like all the necessary space sort of made itself. It also makes a couple spots on the depth chart more appealing to recruits, LB and DT in particular.

*I'm going to assume that the arrests won't let to anymore losses. I think they'll all be punished but they'll all be with the team this year.

I missed the Avery Peterson situation, was a reason given at any point?

He simply wants to have a chance to play. His injury situation early on set him back.

I think this level of attrition is indicative of a bigger problem with the coaching staff and discipline.

None of them were fighting were starting jobs, shouldn't be a probably in 2015. Can't say they hurt this season since they didn't make any impact last season.

That awkward moment when you realize you missed the biggest news story of the last few months.

Yea, he transferred

2 of them got kicked off for discipline

the other 2 left because they got passed up

and Cutrer couldn't get cleared for grades and was always a grade risk

Forgetting to add the 4 suspended players, who are still up in the air.

The 3 who got arrested and R. Robinson.

Of the group you listed though, probably only Valentine really really hurts because of the depth he could have provided. That is not for certain though, because he never played a down in college football.

Now if the other 4, that you didn't list, no longer end up on the LSU team we could have some problems. 2 of those are DBs, and I know we are solid at that position, but those two are contributors. Another is on the defensive line, which is probably the weakness of this team. And say what you want about Jennings, but if he doesn't end up a part of this team and Harris ends up injured LSU is in some serious serious trouble.

Disagree. This happens at every program every year. You haven't been following LSU or any big time college football long enough if you don't know this. We haven't won the Fulmer Cup in a long time, if ever. This last month was a little rocky with the Jennings/LMFAO situations but that's not indicative of anything other then LSU having a bad month.

Miles just said he's optimistic that they'll be on the team soon.

Peterson....never played, never would have

LMFAO....apparently just a deviant, no room here for his issues

Garrett....never has played a snap, and was making no headway

Valentine....never played a snap, never will in Div 1 NCAA football

Cutrer........never part of the team.

These type of departures are just good all around, I don't know why you would want 5 spots held up by folks that are non compliant on or out of the classroom, or just not talented enough. Forget the 'love' they got, and just remember, stars, brothers, or rep does nothing for you when you step out on those lines against other great athletes.

Lots of WR depth. Not a huge deal.

LSU is very thin in the front. This was a big loss but dude couldn't keep his shite straight.

Clifton Garrett

The fact that Garrett couldn't even pass Welter on the DC is quite telling of his progress. It hurts the depth, but that's about it. He couldn't even get into the spring game.

Valentine

Same as LMFAO

No loss. DB depth is sick.

Correct.

We tutor, we build academic centers, we damn near baby sit, there is just so much you can do when you bring in big time players from all kinds of back grounds.

Remember, if you cant find a spot at LSU, there are a lot of programs that you can still play for if you are classroom capable. This is what will happen with Avery, he should find a great career out there somewhere....either someone that uses a TON of wideouts such as Baylor, WVU, OSU, or another program in a Power 5 conference that does not have the depth of recruiting we do

let's not get carried away here. if he is in fact a real person, it's not crazy that he could be on a D1 roster next yr.
