I will NEVER understand the hate people give Alleva. From top to bottom, he has improved our athletic department a ton. Facilities, wins, etc
The brilliant restoration of the façade of the north side of Tiger Stadium is enough to seal his legacy with me.

Joe alleva missed on like one hire since he's been here with coach caldwell and other than that he has been pretty fricking great.
Pretty much all of the hate for him comes from the annual les miles needs to be fired threads.

And in the defense of Trent Johnson, he was a great hire at the time.
Every great athletic director makes bad hires during their tenure. That's just a fact. Between Spurrier and Meyer, Foley also hired fricking Ron Zook and Muschamp

I did say "elite or on their way" you could argue either way. But I agree that it's time the highest paid staff in college football earns their keep

I think 10 is the number, which is gonna be tough (not impossible though)

I think LSU Track will surprise! IIRC LSU qualified the 2nd most athletes from the SEC.
I believe the new locker rooms and meeting room, part of the overall refurbishment to the Field House, will pay off in recruiting!

I find it very interesting that Baseball, Softball and Men's Golf are overshadowing Football, given that the talent level in football is generally considered to be off the charts.
