Oregon Athletic Department Holds Garage Sale (Open to Public)
I think this would be something that could potentially be huge if LSU would do this! I hate the Ducks but what a great idea.

Seems like in the past they have done something similar to this before the spring game.

Some does get sold off, though not like this, more is given to alumni, former players, important high-level donors, etc.
But, a lot of it is just in storage. I used to work in and around the Athletic Department a great deal and you'd be surprised how much shite just gets stowed away in warehouses on campus. I completely agree, let's sell that stuff.

I would have a field day with lsu stuff.
My csb. I was taking a tour of the athletic dept and they had a ton of large framed pictures of former players. Someone asked why they were just stored away. They said they frame them for the athletes and give them to them or family and a pretty large number went unclaimed. Stuff like that would be great for a garage sale

Fans also could purchase shoes, cleats, tennis rackets and balls, warm-ups, Speedos, wall hangings that had been in the locker rooms, helmets, and pads, among other items

The attic in the Athletic Department building has so much old crap in it. I used to go up there just to look around. It's pretty awesome.

Can't do it because Louisiana says its state property. The state is behind because we can't get out of our own way. They don't let our universities operate like businesses.
This is a great way to replenish your apparel budget every year. Fans would go nuts for this.

LSU use to have a big sale one or two times a year on west side of stadium. Mostly T shirts and stuff but they did have several racks of football and baseball jersey. Few stars.

Wish LSU would put out the Nike Pro Combat helmet if they won't use it again.

Yeah, Oregon was selling bad arse hats for like $5. LSU would probably charge a $10 entry fee just to get in, and sell old hats for $20.
