After watching Shaq and Dale. It dawned on me that LSU has produced the 1 pick in all three major America sports.

Can any other school say the same?

That's a great question and topic and I would have to think we may be the only team to have had that happen to date.

Billy Cannon was the #1 overall pick in both the AFL and NFL drafts. Seimone Augustus was the #1 overall pick in the WNBA draft. And of course Jamarcus and Shaq went #1 along w/ McDonald already mentioned.

Send this to the SEC rant to rustle some Jim's.

Also maybe get some other teams fans to chime in to help.

UNC was close, but the Saints went with George Rogers instead of Lawrence Taylor in the 1981 NFL draft. They had BJ Surhoff in baseball and James Worthy and Brad Daugherty in basketball.

Hockey?

Not a real sport.

Petit, Maravich and O'Neal will shut up most everybody in a bar bet college basketball scenario.

I've used it a WVU when some morons tried to go all Jerry West on me.
