Just realized Bama has unranked Mizzou and unranked Tenn. while LSU has Top 5 FL & Top 5 SC from the East. So (and I seriously doubt either of these will happen) LSU could lose to SC and beat Bama and Bama would win the West.

Is it too late to put the old Big-12 back together?

Welcome to Sourh Carolina's world. They beat UGA last year, but they had to play Arkansas from the West while UGA got Ole Miss.

Similar story this year.

So what's the fix? Add two more teams and just play in your division?
Slive needs to fix this shite.

The fair solution is obviously to truly rotate all cross divisional opponents and not have permanent match ups.

Benefits:
1. There isnt a natural advantage given to a team for a stupid reason.

2. Teams will play all the teams in the other division more often.

No the fix is to break up these cross division rivalries. It's ridiculous that LSU has to play Florida while Alabama gets away with playing Tennessee. I know Alabama wants to keep the rivalry because it's an automatic win, but does Tennessee want to keep it?

Yup. This makes absolute sense.

Now prepare to be chastised for being a whiner or pussy from the Internet badasses.

Alabama calls the shots in the SEC and if they want to keep Tenn permanent that is what will happen - plus Texas A&M having to play South Carolina every year (a natural rivalry)and LSU having to play Fla every year. Miss St lucks out with Kentucky and Ole Miss with Vandy. Makes no sense and totally unfair.

I love playing Florida every year. It's a great game and atmosphere. Why in the hell would we not want to play them every year? It just so happened we have to play USCe this year, but if we were playing Kentucky as we sometimes do, are we still complaining?
