When he goes to the goal strong he's successful, and he doesn't do that often. It's typical for him to either bounce the ball when he doesn't need to, fade away b/c he's scared to go up strong, or run around out of control and take a terrible shot. The guy is like a big puppy that either doesn't know or doesn't trust he strength and ability. So in my mind he always "struggles". His points come from easy put backs and/or free throws with a stong basket sprinkled in here and there. I hope he figures it out.
Agree with your assessment completely. I posted the following last night:
I'm happy about the win, but there is no way on earth that our 5'11" point guard should have a team high 7 rebounds and our 6'9" forward/ center only gets 5!!
JOB just seems to have no appreciation of his size and strength. It's like he doesn't try to use it.
Once again we failed to beat our opponent on 2 chance shots.
JOB and Jalen need to fight for those.
Disappointed in the post play. but glad JOB got the clutch free throws.
