Looks like Saban's post game rant worked. LSU plays 4 of the top 6 teams. LSU schedule bordering on ridiculous.

Glad to be back in the polls, but they are mostly irrelevant for this particular lsu squad...just keep growing and scrape and claw yourself to 8+ wins and this season will go down as a success IMO with great things in store for 2015-2016.
I do agree with others there are a handful of teams ranked in front of LSU that are not better teams than LSU (EastCarolina, USC, Clemson, Marshall), just ahead of us due to timing/schedule/circumstances....Nebraska, OU, and Utah deserve to be ranked ahead of us, but I'm not sure they're necessarily better than us either. Nonetheless, as I said, does it really matter?

Agree slick. I think we are better and our losses are against much better comp than both 5-2 Oky and USC.
