Who the hell do we have to replace that position?? We lost three LTs in that position and possibly a 4th in Washington? That position is decimated. Do we have anyone developed to play the most important position on oline?

His name is Lael Collins, number one rated OT a few years back but can be argued Cyrus K. was just as good if not better at Bama no less.

After the Clemson game I'm more worried about right tackle.

What makes you think he will slide over to LT? They didn't even do that when Faulk went down. But really, one injury at that position and we're fricked. Who is on the depth chart behind Josh D., Faulk, Washington, and Davenport there?

And you think Hawkins is ready to step into the LT spot? He's a RS Freshman. We don't even know what we'll have if Collins DOES move there. Regardless, that position is the anchor on the line and we'll have two inexperienced guys at the position. You can't rely on Freshman depth...I'm sorry.

*sigh* This team is going to have a lot of chemistry problems next year on both sides of the ball. Youngest team in the country? Probably so.

Yeah, because a 6th year senior took over the position.

Lot easier to move him out during the offseason instead of between game 1 and 2.

We also lost our best pass protection RB to the draft and C. Center is very important on the line. You also have a statue for a QB, an oline who had spotty protection all year, and an oline coach that everyone hates at LSU. Hard to be optimistic next year...

Does Davenport reconsider?

Already in motion probably.

If Stud wasn't the oline coach I might be a little more optimistic. It would be nice to get an injection of something positive surrounding the program. This clown couldn't even spot Alexander/Turner being more talented than his pet favorites Williford/Hurst. Forgive me for not being optimistic he can put the right pieces into the line. He or Miles, whoever the frick deals with them.

And that type of talent is really difficult to replace.

Maybe LSU is sitting on a ton of talent at the Fresh/Soph level and the staff needs to get them on the field ASAP. They haven't exactly been in a panic to find experienced help via the JC route.

Panic much? We will be fine, next man up! I remember people here wondering how we would ever replace Glen Dorsey. Our dline never missed a beat.

Why not Collins at LT and Williford at LG? My concern is a lack of experienced depth. Several guys will have to step up.
