Jeremy hill has more production in one freshman season that Alfred blue does in the whole time he been here.

I'm in no way anti Alfred blue but for fricks sake people... Jeremy hill is that best back we've had prob since Kevin Faulk.
God forbid les miles give him a carry in the fourth quarter of a football game... I suppose his efforts vs USC wasn't proof enough.

Blue and Hill we be the focal point I have no doubt. We haven't had a feature back since Ridley honestly, and even then he wasn't carrying it 100%.

I imagine the height of,the OL is a reason why Magee (who I think is our shortest RB) was moved back.

Like with MJD and Sproles, a shorter cat running behind a massive line can cause problems for the 2nd and 3rd level of a defense.

We havent had feature back since prob toefield, maybe even KFaulk..
Charles Scott was there with SRidley, before that it was Hester and KWilliams and Cscott
toefield, DDavis, Justin vincent, SHy carey, Joe Addai and Alley Brousard.

I think JHill is better than all those guys.
Thats just me though.

Magee is a better fit at RB.... and we need the depth there more now.

He's a very good athlete but not an LSU starter at RB, WR, or as a DB. probably a contributor on special teams alon the way. At this level EVERY player on the field was pretty "elite" at the HS level.

So no knock on Terrance he is a team player and trying to contributor where he can.

With these backs and this line,if mett can throw like he did against bama, this offense will be lethal against anyone in the country.

Those stats are a little misleading considering the bulk of Hill's starts came against SEC defenses.Hill is a better back.

Blue looks real good in the practice clips, but game contact, and trusting the knee, will remain to be seen...The kid looks real good, though, and he's the best back we had, when he was healthy. He just has the better all around game. He's not a better runner, than Hill IMO, but he has been the best blocker, chipper, reciever...just all around guy....He gives LSU its best chance at running, and passing, and keeping the D off-balance than anyone we got. I bet he'll be #1 at the start of the season...which is something to be excited about, when you think of how good Hill is....

I truly think Alfred Blue and TJ Yeldon are equal backs. Almost clones. TIFWIW

really too early to make a depth chart call but Blue may be the best looking athlete on the field. we have three very good backs in Hill, Blue and Hilliard. McGee is very capable and Brazil has lightspeed potential. I like.

get better.

Seriously, right now pull up highlights of both and honestly tell me their running styles are not similar. Watch both of them.

Agreed. Blue is solid but he's done nothing remotely close to what Hill has done.

This is fact not opinion.

Not knocking Blue, but look at the teams Hill put those numbers up against vs. the teams blue put em up against. Also Blue busted a lot of long runs 2 years ago in the 3rd and 4th quarters when the other team's D was tired and the games were getting out of hand. I feel Hill is better, but can't go wrong with Blue either.
