I predicted 8-4 from the beginning and still believe we can get there. Although I did predict a loss to MSU I did not think we would get dominated but we still have a lot of football to play. I think we have some young talent on this team and I definitely think we can get better but it will be up to our head coach to take them in this direction.

It's only the idiots that first predicted team to go 8-4 and 9-3 but for whatever reason melt like snowflakes and want to quit after losing the 1st.

The same people yelling the loudest never expected the team to go undefeated. The just finally get to say "I told you so". It's easier to argue a negative point than to root for a team when they are undefeated.

I think we're 6-6 honestly. Lost to State with losses coming to Florida, Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, and either aTm/Ark. Our lines of scrimmage are worse than most of those teams

Please wake me up when the Ed 0 era is over. Spend too much time, effort and money on LSU to see this babbling idiot turn it to shite

Nah it's the assholes that screamed that Miles was underachieving with so much NFL talent and cheered the O hire as some big continuity win now scheme last winter that then flipped the script and started back pedaling saying how tough the schedule was this offseason to lower the expectations that are the real problem.

Now these liars aren't even talking about the schedule since there is no longer any denying how weak the SEC is right now. But they've sunken even further to this "total rebuild" and bare cupboard bullshite to justify just being happy Miles is gone no matter how bad things get.

Predictable and pathetic moving of goalposts. Enjoy the dark ages you fricking idiots.

LSU lost to State. The macro prediction is irrelevant. I would guess that less than 5% of all respondents would have put anything other than a W next to this game when making a prediction. Didn't Les get hell for losing to teams he should not such as Arkansas and Ole Miss?

I think most of us expected 9-3 as the realistic expectation, possibly 10-2. Losses to Alabama and dropping 1 or 2 between Florida/Auburn/Tennessee. No realistic fan expected 12-0 but losing by 30 to anyone, even to Bama, isn't acceptable.

it happens every year that many fans pick 12-0 or 11-2. it's preseason optimism.

then, when we lose a game, all hell breaks loose.

Just because people predicted 9-3 or 8-4 doesn't mean we should be happy with 9-3 or 8-4. When making those predictions people took into account that we have one of the most incompetent head coaches across all power 5 programs.

I figured 10 and 2 or 9 and 3. What I didn't expect was getting our dicks kicked in by Moo State.

At least be honest...LSU didn't just "lose a game." LSU got beaten by a foe that they've played since the late 1800's and over 100 times in total by the worst margin of defeat in the history of the series.

You can make the point that people jump to the worst case scenario without pretending like this loss was anything other than historically bad, and the historic nature of it REALLY DOES warrant some very real concern.
