After the UGA game this board was somewhat positive. We knew LSU had offensive issues. Yet, no one dares to say anything after a win. Now, this board is CRAWLING with nothing but negative posters.

No, I'm not a sunshine pumper, nor do I those stupid glasses people talk about. I believe LSU has a serious issue at QB. People are so fast to blame a coach for a QB's inability to run an offense. Now, I most def. disagree with the decisions made not to play RS.....but what can you do? Coaches are handcuffed with the QB situation. Yes, it's their job to improve the play of the QB, but after direction, it's the QB's job to improve himself.

Anyway, point is, if this team goes 9-3 (like almost everyone on this board predicted) every one of you crybaby MFers will return back to your holes until you find something else to bitch at. If you're gonna bitch and moan, do it after wins too. Otherwise, you're nothing but a bunch of crybaby cowards. The board is much, MUCH better without you.

This post is for 90% of the posters that are posting on this board and will be until at least after the Auburn win. Look at me! Look at me! I can fix the problems at LSU!

to be honest, i felt good saturday morning.

then i saw a piss poor TN team put up 40+ points on UGA, then I felt iffy.

yep, that bad gut feeling was right.

Last week I was telling myself "offense played better in 1st half, but not enough points from that effort, offense was shut down for all of 3rd qtr. and most of 4th, and defense played better but thank GOD we played a QB with accuracy problems."

This week, defense made me more of a believer and offense lost ground.

the offense came alive when they had to against GA. we all felt that they had shown us they could do it, and now might move forward with some confidence.

now it doesn't look like it is going to happen this season.

Meh. It can go both ways. A friend of mine said the same thing. But with UGA, I think it's more of a "UGA rolling over and dying" thing, rather than LSU beat a shitty team.

Just like Florida killed LSU's season, I think LSU killed UGA's season this year.

2 seasons in a row our qbs have regressed as the season wore on. This is a coaching issue

C'mon...this was as predictable as the fricking sunrise. All day tailgating I was talking to people about how shitty fans had been before the UGA win and how quiet things had gotten leading up to Florida.

My take on it was the same folks who had run down the team so much had the best of both worlds as far as they were concerned. On the one hand, if LSU pulled off the upset (and that's what it would have been) they would get to walk around and beat their chests to friends anf family about how THEIR Tigers put it on Florida. And, if LSU lost, they'd get the pleasure of telling everyone that they had seen it coming.

Typical...

In no way does this post suggest there are not issues with this LSU team that need to be addressed, simply that a huge portion of "LSU Fans" are asshats who seek to never be happy.

yeah but that was one week after we beat up on UGA at their place and ended the game on a final minute TD

it always kills me when someone talks about how a team we physically beat up loses the next week badly and a few act like it is some kind of surprise.

Maybe, but if you're going to blame the coaches, you have to blame the player also. IMO, he's the one that has to go out and do the job. He hasn't.

IMO, it's time to sit him to at least put a spark in the offense. Has Lee improved? no one knows until he's in the game to do so.

Promi,

I can't recall for certain but I am certain before the season I posted that I expected at least four losses and maybe five.

That said I never expected to see such an inept offense. And while I absolutely love our D and am not real fond of the bend-don't-break attitude if there is such as thing.

I don't know if bend is an excuse or for real but these guys play lights out when backed up. I just wished they could do that midfield. We need some 3 and outs by the D before the opponent reaches our 10 yard line.
