List of Joe Alleva failures at LSU. *UPDATED*

Lets make a complete list of the frick-up's of our great Athletic director. I'll start:
1. The hiring of Ed Orgeron / coaching search 2016.
2. The fake firing of Les Miles / coaching search 2015.
3. Making a majority of the tailgating spots into paid parking.
4. Hiring Johnny Jones
5. The failed hiring of softball coach Patrick Murphy
6. Hiring Tren Johnson
7. Getting into a lawsuit w/ John Chavis over a contract, dragging it out over months costing hundreds of thousands of dollars, only to drop the suit.
8. $12,000,000 buyout to Ed Orgeon
9. Extending Les Miles contract because he thought Les was going to Arkansas.
10. LSU playing Florida @ home in 2016, giving Florida 2 home games in 2017 & 2018.
11. Hiring a shitty band director, banning our best songs and piping in top 40 rap hits of the 90's every other play
there are many more to add but I don't wanna be too greedy. What else do we got? I'll Update when we get a list compiled.

When he hired Alabama's softball coach then the coach gave a press conference then drug his nuts on Alleva's face and went back to Alabama.
That embarrassment for Alleva is part of the reason he's scared to go big and put it all out there for coaching searches.

He wasn't officially AD yet but he played a huge role in the Trent Johnson hire

The chavis lawsuit needs to be updated to read- getting into a lawsuit with john chavis, dragging it out forever and spending hundreds of thousands in legal fees, and then dropping it. - and at this point I wouldn't put it past aleva to be so much an amateur that he actually DID amend a contract after it was signed. I mean- that one fact has really gotten no publicity. How can you do ANYTHING to a signed contract after the fact, is so below board that any common HR manager anyplace would be fired for that...

Of course it’s TBD, but the bar is damn low on “good things” for Alleva. So far though Wade has done a miriacle.
