Liking what I've seen on the Rant the last few weeks

After Jan 9th, 2012, this place became almost unbearable. Terrible BCSCG, a couple recruiting failures, and a 2012 regular season that failed - albeit not by much - to live up to the lofty preseason expectations.
However, in these recent weeks, all of us are seeing some very positive momentum building for the LSU football program, and I'm glad the vast majority of the fans seem to be excited about the future of LSU football. It's amazing to me that Miles always finds a way to "reinvigorate" the fan base when it would be very easy for this program (or any program for that matter) to go flat/stale when its head coach enters his 9th season.
Kudos to the staff for putting together yet another elite recruiting class and kudos to Miles and the adminstration for snagging Cam Cameron. It certainly seems that if LSU can get incremental improvement and execution on the offensive side of the ball, LSU's consistent dominance of this conference is poised to continue. This is a program that has gone 22-2 over the last two regular season (that's an 11-1 average), and that's with an anemic - and sometimes even downright shitty - offense. Just imagine what LSU could do if we get merely a 10-20% improvement on the offensive side of the ball. The addition of Cameron and the potential for him to help Mett in his final season, coupled with the great QB haul in this class with Rettig and Jennings waiting in the wings, the next few years could definitely be exciting in Baton Rouge.
I'm pumped about the future, and I hope everyone else is as well.
(FYI, in case you missed it, ticket reserves for the 2014 BCSCG at the Rose Bowl went on sale last week. I got 6 for LSU at $45 each! LINK)

Some posters remain unbearable.

The Cam hiring has come at a good time.

No doubt
We needed some positive energy around here
I think it will be a moral boost for the team in a big way

you might wanna read a bit more. This place still sucks.

1. Cam hiring;
2. Usual top flight recruiting haul.
Let's talk about "momentum" in late November, 2013, to see how it tranaltes on the field.
It's a hopeful time, but the week after signing day almost always is with Les Miles .

This recruiting class couldn't have suited our needs any better. And the Cam hiring is the icing on the cake. I think it's going to be a great season

I literally stopped reading here.

I thing the Rant is in a good frame of mind because Les finally did the obvious--hiring an offensive coach. Combine that with a good recruiting class and LSU indeed looks poised to continue its success.
The 2 QB's coming in will have the biggest impact on our success in the future imo. SEC is getting tougher each year--2013 will have ups and downs.
Remember, all posters that post negative rants are not the enemy. Sometimes everyone needs their work evaluated. GO TIGERS.

Yeah, after another bowl loss and mass defections, needed something positive and this is a good primer. Just renews hope.

I completely agree, the attitude was awful since I joined (around the time of the Auburn game) and it's good to see a somewhat positive attitude around here

This is what the Pax Romana must've felt like.

I don't know about the rant being any better, but I like the recruits LSU signed and hiring Cam. Those are positives in my book.

Im just hoping CC doesn't bolt after a year or two. If he can get some production out of LSUs offense this season, he may get some serious looks. Will we have the two highest paid coordinators in college?

I've been tremendously optimistic for the following year pretty much every year since Saban turned program around. Still so this year till the Clemson game. Just sucked the life (CFB) out of me. This hire is very exciting, can't wait to see how it goes.

Dang. Ticket reserves now up over 80 bucks.

I'm happy that I laid $100 on LSU to win the BCS at 50-1.
