To me, he has looked gassed against Florida and again last night. We have plenty of talent at RB, I don't see why we don't give him a couple series off in the third quarter to keep him fresh. I think he would be a much more efficient back with 5-7 less carries per game with fresher legs late in the game.

So is that why he rips it for 10 yards a carry in the 4th quarter while leaving bruised safeties in his wake?

He won't be tired in the 4th quarter against Bama, don't you worry.

I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with him, just that we should make an effort to keep him fresher for a worn out defense. We saw what Guice did will th fresh legs against a worn out defense.

Well victory wasn't assured until the 4th quarter last night. It wouldn't be too bright to sit the best player in football with the game still in question.

Well we have a well deserved bye week this week, so everybody can rest up and everybody can get healthy.

i didn't notice it so much vs. Florida, but I was in the stands. I watched on tv last night, and saw the same thing. I didn't think it unusual, because a soft turf like last night will make your legs very tired.

You understand how football works right?

Or did you get that far in the whole thinking process?

When he gets to bust out a 50 yards in a 5-7 play drive and get off the field, that keeps him fresh. When he has to fight for 5 yard carries for 10-12 play drives and the defense gets a quick 3 and Out, like what happened in the last 2 games, that takes a toll. But that be in said, Henry looked worn out before half against Tennessee yesterday. 2 weeks to rest up, Fournette Will get the hard yards but from what I see of Bama, Guice will get the big yards on the outside

Or it could be boredom.

With this logic, why do we ever take him out the game?

If he is rolling, fine. But a fresh Guice or Williams for a few series to keep LF fresh would pay dividends in the fourth quarter.

I was exhausted just sitting in the stands for four quarters. Water is the great equalizer. Running on that soupy field will wear you out quick.

And the problem is............. what, exactly? Are you saying that should be Fournette getting those carries instead of Guice, who has fresh legs?

So glad you aren't a coach, numb nuts.

Yes, as running full speed into a group of tacklers tends to do. God forbid he gets tired

He got some rest in the 3rd against Florida...I think.

He always looks like that to me...think it's his way of conserving energy

So should we rest LF all second half? Do you understand what you are asking? A fresh LF in the fourth quarter? Holy frick I feel like I'm arguing with a brick wall

I'm saying Guice or Williams or both should get 1 or 2 series in the 3rd quester to keep LF fresh for the fourth quarter. It's really not a difficult concept. It's something we've done with our RBs up until this year. I understand the Arab situation is very different this year, but I think LF would benefit from fresher legs in the fourth.
