anyone that knows, been involved, or competes in olympic weightlifting would call it the same thing.

olympic plates are generally weighed in as kilograms, and odd numbers are not uncommon

I'll NEVER be able to clean that much in my life....

...... But holy shite someone needs to get in the gym and teach them to catch the bar on their shoulders with their elbows pointing parallel to the ground. Otherwise that's a snapped wrist waiting to happen.

At 13, dam strong! that really is quite impressive. If there is any one lift that translates to and is indicative of football strength, it's the power clean.

More so than the squat or the dead lift and especially more so than the bench press

I really don't know why they don't do power cleans at the NFL combine as one of the tests instead of the bench press. I think it would be a lot more telling of real strength that translates to the football field.

Dear God!! People, as always on this board, raging and trying to win some sort of macho contest. Much like the OT board with people trying to impress with their knowledge of guns and their prowess with long range shooting. Got it. Neal is really strong. That's all we need to know.

I attended LSU in the mid 80s, and I also remember hearing that Eric Andolsek cleaned a little over 400lbs- not to take anything away from Neal's incredible feat of strength.
