Mainly...Florida.

Can we beat them? This is my main concern.

In my opinion this season is either made or broken with that game. A win over Florida in the swamp, regardless of their shitshow, would provide the spark we need to win the rest of the games within our reach.

I think we can do it. Orgeron and co likely have this game circled. This would shut nearly everyone up if only for a week or two.

I want this win and im trying to be as realistic as possible and say 17-14 LSU..

Florida isn't very good and neither are we.

But one thing can be said for them is that they don't quit when they are down.

On the other hand, LSU phoned it in against Mississippi State.

Big advantage for Florida. My guess is they win 17-10.

If the tigers don't come ready to play they might get blown out and this is a really shite Florida team. LDR isn't a bad QB both both of their lines are likely better than LSU's

At this point i want to get it over with.

It took them a hail mary to beat a tennessee team that barely stood up to winless umass. We HAVEto take advantage.

O has lost his last 9 SEC games as a full time HC. I don't think we win a single conference game this year. But F. King and the Gov. will be happy because we're under budget. We paid a ditch digger $3.5 million not to coach. I can't believe it's working. You can't make this ____ up.

I keep wanting to say that we will get better here pretty soon...I just can't make myself believe it.

Especially at the swamp.

We can beat them. The Swamp is the toughest road game in the SEC besides Tiger Stadium and our defense has to improve but believe it or not our offense is considerably better than theirs. So while it will be a tall task we definitely can beat them.

Our offense is better than theirs, but our offense plays their defense and I'm just not sure how our blocking can hold up against their front seven. Plus, their corners are very good so our receivers are going to have to bring their A game to create separation.

I agree with you there but I think by the time that game is here we'll have our full compliment of rotation guys on the Dline and that will even the odds. If you look at our splits we've out scored opponents 63-21 in the first half (posting from memory so it maybe off by a point or 2) but only 51-50 in the second half (that one is accurate). This shows that our defense is wearing down considerably, mostly due to fatigue on the Dline. Herron will be back Lawrence and Alexander should be 100% or as close to that as can be and our younger guys will have more experience.

I hope you're right. I'd be feeling a lot better if we'd taken care of business against Syracuse.

I think a lot of the vitriol about the Syracuse game is connected to the State loss. You know in 2015, an LSU team many thought would beat Bama and win the SEC, only beat a much weaker Syracuse team by 10 that's 1 point more than this year. If you look at the BYU game our defense played very discipline, used proper tackling technique and wasn't flashy but very solid all around. Since then I see a lot of guys trying to do too much going for big hits and missing tackles. If we just get back to playing sound defensive football and letting plays come to us the defense should improve drastically. Giving up those extra 2/4 yards on plays because of bad tackling adds up over the course of a game.
