Let's talk about the officials from tonight's game

Honestly the worst officiating I've seen since church league basketball.
Horribly slanted and inconsistent calls the entire game. Victor breathed on someone and got a foul, while their bigs got away with murder on our entire team. The team played bad, but this was frustrating as hell.

The Darcy and 1 call was a joke and big momentum play.
Simmons wasn't getting the fouls he usually draws.

You may get raped around these parts for saying that...but you're right. LSU had to play perfect defense to stop A&M, and we know how difficult that is for us to do. But Simmons was getting mauled at the rim. Then everyone says Simmons is worthless and what not

I'm not blaming the refs for the loss, I'm saying it sure as hell didn't help with the ridiculous and obviously slanted reffing going on.

I've never seen somethjng like that in a major college game. I mean it was blatant.
Victor was getting whistled if any part of his body made contact with an AM player. They were hacking all of our players in the paint, and nothing was called.

Uh... Really!?
Saw Simmons foul Caruso 2-3 times on ONE trip down the court and not get called. Announcers even said a couple of the charges agst A&M were bogus. Simmons got star treatment i thought.

Refs in college hoops are beyond terrible. Even when it's called "evenly" it's still terrible

I agree with this 100%. This is why I'm not too invested (so to speak) in college basketball or basketball in general. To me, the outcome of no other sport can be controlled by officiating like basketball. Not saying it's one sided at all, just saying it bad all around for all teams.

The "moving" screen on ER was just pathetic after everything they were letting go contact wise down low.
The ref made his mind on the call before contact was even made
The worst thing in basketball is the offensive foul motion. Too much fun for these SEC officials to call I guess since they really like to put on a show for it

I don't understand how they never called a moving screen on the tubby afro'd kid from A&M. He would get in a defensive stance at the 3 point line and shuffle his feet to obstruct the defender. Did it multiple times with no call.

I have no issue with them letting it go unless really egregious
Just be consistent. ERs screen shouldn't be a foul by the strictest standards
They really need to add a 6th foul. CBB officiating is too bad for just 5. Officials have too much power
