Under Les, it always felt like we were never going to turn the corner to compete for championships again no matter how well we played or how well we recruited. I always felt that we would have a good defense, but the offense would never be good enough to get us to the NC. With CEO...mainly his coordinators, I feel like we have a chance. This recruiting class was on par with Les' classes. Our kicker under Les couldn't kick it past the 5 yard line can all of the sudden kick it out of the endzone under CEO. I don't know, it just seems like there is hope, where once there was doubt. I know we may be disappointed with a couple more games this season, but the future finally looks bright.

Edit:
I bet all these Les sunshine pumpers were the same ones bashing him for a stagnant offense, clock mismanagement, underutilized play-makers, inability to beat bama in 5 years, him going with JJ over Lee, embarrassment in national championship game, the perennial collapsing in November, failure to make staff changes when needed (Cam), letting the states top recruits go to bama etc...but hey, he's still the highest paid coach we got, so y'all really want him back verses a change and a chance at something different?

Gotta improve where we're at recruiting wise. Right now it looks like we will end with a class ranked between 20-15.

Stars don't mean everything...lets get players that fit our system....something we struggled with for years particularly at QB.

He still could become Dabo 2.0

I’m not banking on it but hopeful.

So we win a NC and make another with Les. But somehow you have more faith in a dude that just had 2 of the most embarrassing losses in school history?

Les lost games late . Went into most Novembers in the hunt for a title.

Edward Orgeron loses early . Eliminates the hunt for a title all together before September.

I want to believe but two wins against teams we should beat isn't enough to convince me. We win out and I'm convinced we win it all next year. We'll have to wait and see.

A whole hell of a lot more than CEO has done in his entire career.

What has Orgeron done the past 5 years besides orchestrate a coup?

He was on his couch in Mandeville eating boudin balls in 2015 when Miles saved his career.

We always had good seasons until the Bama, then we would collapse in November.

I am excited about the last two weeks but I still need to see more and more from O and this staff to feel comfortable.

What has Ed O ever done his entire career?

I mean I know O just beat Florida and Auburn, but that's nothing new because Les owned both of those schools for the most part during his tenure at LSU.
