mentioned Greg Gilmore. I like hearing that. Godchaux and Gilmore would be very solid, with LaCouture providing depth.

The key word in your statement is "might". Some of you clearly haven't been in a position where you coach individuals. Do you think it would be appropriate to ditch players who have never had an offense at LSU?

What the......? I think LaCouture is widely considered LSU's best defensive lineman.

When your QB actually has charges you have to get rid of him. If Jennings comes back and still is a 50% passer it's going to make CLM look like a bigger idiot

The only thing I gleaned from that podium call is a further fear that our head football coach is slipping more and more into senility. That was terribly awkward and made ME uncomfortable... and I was just listening on the radio!

Oh Les, I love ya dude. And unlike most people on here, I actually think you're a great coach....

edit: ...and why couldn't he just say "My kids are all growing up so fast, and have so much going on that it's hard to keep track of them and get time alone with them." instead of that rambling, awkward, confusing dissertation where I wasn't sure where his "you's" meant "you" or "I" or "we" or "us".

....but you're starting to worry me, man.... just a little bit....

Yeah... LaCouture in NOT just "depth". He's a starter easy. I like Gilmore too, but you cant afford to not start LaCouture. He too good.

He does the Miles family update every year. And every year he gives an update on each kid.

I swear some of you come here to bitch about the most ridiculous shite

I realize that he does it every year. The updates on the Miles family isn't the problem, ding dong. I actually find them riveting press conference material. I have been tediously wondering how Smacker was doing at Texas and where Manny was gonna truly end up (the Manny thing is actually legit, actually).

It's the WAY HE DELIVERED THE UPDATE that was confusing and worrisome.

You do realize you fussing about somebody fussing about what you classify as "ridiculous" kinda makes you one of those people you are fussing about.

....just saying.

oh, and I can upvote my own post too... but I don't.

Unless you are listening to the OBC you never get much out of the Media Days.
