Les has always said he did not want to face his alma mater unless it was in an unavoidable type situation like a BCS game. LSU was offered the opportunity to play UM in Outback but Les (via Alleva) turned it down. Guys you can't blame Les. He bleeds Maize and Blue before he bleeds Purple and Gold. This is not new information.

If you want to be mad at Les then go ahead, but the SEC offered the Outback and Les declined. The SEC was not at fault.

Les also stated anytime to get his young guys an opportunity to play in the SECCG venue he will take that every time.

God, yes. The outback bowl is a waste of everybody's time, that nobody watches.

Yes Les is sole decision maker for the football program, when it comes to scheduling.

Watch how easy this is.

I have a source in the athletic department that told me Les was looking forward to playing UM in the Outback, but the league killed the plan.

There...now it's true.
