Landon Collins said, "LSU is especially meaningful to him after they "threw me in the dirt" when he committed to Alabama".

And how did LSU throw him in the dirt?

I bet a shitload of LSU fans gave him grief.

Like I said, what did he expect? He basically threw LSU in the dirt based on how he handled his the recruiting process.

His ex was not too happy that people around her were pissed that she was going to Bama as well.

Ummm...he pretty much threw LSU in the dirt caused by his debacle of a recruiting process.

Way to go, Les. Locker room material for Bama. We really needed another reason for them to come out strong.

Edit: Still made me though!

So you'll be playing then? Good luck.

If not, maybe you should leave the motivation to the players and coaches.

I haven't been the ardent Les Miles supporter, but these are the games you want a guy like him in the locker room and on the sidelines. Underdog, on the road in a game where no one is giving you much of a chance to win. Hell, these types of games are how Les came to prominence and got the LSU job in the first place (see 2 upsets of highly ranked OU)

To me, Les is LSU football's version of Dale Brown. He can get great players and sometimes leave fans with some head-scratching results. But he can motivate the hell out of the underdog, and sometimes surprise you with an upset when you may not expect it.
