Again...you cant answer my question... Its pretty simple... IF Harris was so hurt that he couldn't see action against any other team, Why was he healthy enough to play against Bama??
I know some of these concepts are really strange and hard for us common-folk to understand, but apparently it's common in sports to sit a player who is injured to allow him to get back to 100% unless you have no other choice but to play him because of injury to another player. I know, it's really weird, but evidently coaches do this. I even heard coaches say at times "he could have played, if necessary, but we'd rather hold him out to let him heal up".

Miles track record for choosing starting or recruiting QB is not good. He should listen to others, especially those that have success at the highest levels of competition. But we all know Les will do what Les wants to do even if it clearly Iis wrong. Les just being Les (love the double meaning).
agree 100%

I disagree with this inherently, but do think Mett should have started the day he stepped on campus.

Les Miles DGAF about what Bradshaw thinks.
He has no want to GAF, ergo the will to compete and win evidently takes precedence over any desire to GAF. To sum up, GAF could seriously mitigate the team's chances of winning the day, to wit, finishing second.

It was a joke in context to his speech. Taking funny shots at Harris.

little substance? are you kidding. I read a lot in those words.
something like, "opinions are like assholes, everybody has one".
people that sit on the sideline and criticize, no matter their background, don't have a fricking clue what it's like to have to actually MAKE the decision. and that includes bradshaw, who was a PLAYER, not a coach.

What I wish Miles would have said....
"Certainly those people that have a a feel and a want for a guy, or an understanding of football would like to render an opinion, but Terry Bradshaw couldn't spell cat if you spotted him the c-a-"

Ummmm Les has had success at the highest levels of competition.
I love it when you dullards don't have a singe solitary coherent original thought.
But thanks for repeating it.

You're an educated poster whose opinion I respect, but I couldn't see Mett getting us through 2011 unscathed.

That's right.. quit while you are behind.... And NO you never answered my question except saying that he had no choice because of Kragthorpe.... Well it looks like he had a choice....

And I understand this, But what if AJ was knocked out for the game??? I still think Harris should have gotten more playing time.... Just to help his confidence....

Then you play the only other scholarship QB on the roster and feel like a jackass for doing it.
