Meaning what?? Like I am saying that I am in charge. NO!! It is his team! But, if it were mine, I would take the blame for not having my team prepared to play to their potential. Again, our offense against SEC teams this year have done well in the 1st qtr. & THAT'S IT!!! What does that tell you? The other team is adjusting & LSU is NOT! Okay, so we are turning the ball over & have penalties. So work it out of them in practice. This team is so much less prepared & disciplines compared to last year & I don't think that the talent is that much less. Les is the coach, he gets paid a hell of lot of money. EARN IT!!!

Agree totally!! And that's my frustration, I believe that as long as we were winning, Les was satisfied even though the development of the qb is coming along sooooo slow. What I mean by teams catching up is that UF, South Carolina, Miss St., etc. are better this year than last year. Playing it conservative can cost you a game if the game is close. Last year we had a positive turnover ratio which turned into blowouts. Les needs to coach up this offense FAST!! Mett needs to get confident. The wr's need more than a couple of throws per game to improve. The offensive line needs to toughen up. Yea, we have had injuries, but I thought we were one of the SEC elites with depth or was that just perception!!!

I guess you are right. It could be worse. Good luck to you guys! Auburn needs to let Keil run the ball. But I can relate, JJ was terrible when he thought that he had to stay in the pocket.

Stud has 2 jobs, it might be too much for his abilities and if he has been put in that position it's not his fault.

Javi is a hitting coach and takes naps on 3rd base during the games.

Stud > Javi

Les needs to quit making excuses as to why the team lost, looking to blame the fumble or the injuries. Bottom line, LSU would have lost earlier if we had played anybody.

What the hell would you like him to say? That the team sucks and he can't believe that we made it this far without losing?

Of course the turnovers and the offense not playing well are to blame you retard.

We have needed a switch in offensive philosophy ever since GAME OF THE CENTURY (part 1). However, nothing will change as long as STUD and MILES are together...

The O line is a HUGE part of why we are struggling offensively. Play calling being the other. But coaching up the O line is not their issue, its that they have been demolished with injuries.

So you are saying that in the past 7 years LSU offense hasn't driven the field and scored.
Is that your position?

Given our talent on offense the past seven years, I would say that unfortunately it has been our tendency to underachieve far more often than overachieve. Much of that has to be related to the coaching.

Wouldn't you agree?

Coach Stud seems too nervous about making a mistake. Shows up in silly timeouts and obvious 3rd down calls. Id say 75% of the time, it seems like Gary and Verne knew the next play call...

Look at the stats for the last 5 years - we've had a steady decline every year.

Yea, whoever heard of fumbles and injuries causing problems in an offense?

Other than injuries and fumbles, what should he say? They're a bunch of nonexecuting mfers?

If Miles were to state the real reasons the offense sucks, you'd be posting about him throwing players under the bus.

And we have two very stubborn, very loyal head coaches. Very bad for those desiring change.

I haven't been much of an auburn person, esp. chizik, but I was impressed when he personally apoligized for the loss to Arkansas. To me, that makes a good coach. All I've heard the last 4 years is BS for CLM.

Everyone's expectations of this team were way too high. You lose several big time players to the draft, your best player (and one of the best in college football) and a starting linebacker (T. Jones) to start the season, your starting left tackle, your opening day starting tailback, and two assistant coaches. Thats alot for a team to go through. The team is just not executing now. If you combine that with all of these losses in personel, youre looking at a team that will lose a couple to a few games. Its not armageddon, its just reality.

you might be right bear. I've accepted that. I'm already looking to next year and who is going to the draft.
