I know this has been discussed many times but I want y'all's thoughts now. To me I thought change might be the best option after starting 7-0 then losing three in a row to our 3 main rivals. After the Arkansas game I expected a comment saying this would be Les Miles last game as The LSU Head Coach. When we heard nothing and the athletic dept. allowed speculation to grow it started to make me angry at them instead of Miles. While watching Miles and his family enter the field together vs A&M I felt a sense of pride for the man who leads this team. Call me nuts but I have learned to understand Les and the way he treats his players as well as his family. By the end of the game and watching the way the players/coaches/media/family responded to what might have been his last game makes me feel like I'm not alone.

the ENTIRE situation was a cluster-frick from minute one after the Arkansas game. The loss to Bama hurt but it didn't kill the season, the loss to Arky did. The loss to Ole Miss was just insult to injury and I've never seen an LSU team more dejected/defeated-looking in my life, (save for The Mulligan Bowl.) Had Les been any other Coach (minus Saban) he would've been gone. If we had any other AD and administration at LSU, the situation would've have been half as bad. A normal AD would've come out and supported his coach saying, "he's our guy." and Good Ole Joe didn't do that, which is why all the rumors flew around.

I'm glad CLM is back. I can't see anyone else leading this team. He's killing it on the recruiting trail and he put together one hell of a staff for this season. We'll win 11+ games this year. CLM needs to keep his job. We really don't realize how good we have it.

Love Les, Win More.

They couldn't have handled that situation worse if they had tried to. Totally embarrassing and just shows how horrible our administration truly is. Les didn't deserve to be treated like that

Easy dude, Chicken runs this site.

He doesn't like one or two word titles.

Just sum it up a little better, that's all. Don't get all riled up.

LSU is in kind of a tough spot. You have a good coach who just can't quite get you to the top (at least he got you there once). LSU and Georgia are pretty comparable in talent, though I'd probably give LSU the nod, so a lot of fans probably salivate at the possibilities if they get a coach who can come up with the right formula. But there's a much greater chance you'll end up in the wilderness for a few years like Florida after Urban Meyer left and like Tennessee. Face it, until Saban leaves, Bama is going to be #1 in the West and in the conference. THat's not really Les Miles' fault. You can try to bring in a new staff, but there's a lot more floor under you than ceiling.

Then he needs to state such instead of just saying fix your thread title so it's understood why...he could have very easily stated fix your thread title no two word titles, please elaborate more

the OP was correct in calling him out on it...
