Just referenced Scott Rabalais' article in the Baton Rouge Advocate, and how Miles may be coaching for his job. Looks like Scotty is getting the clicks he was hoping for.

All four panelists on ATH said it would be kind of silly, especially considering the buyout.

About to talk about it on PTI.

PTI guys spent 2 full minutes on it. Le Batard said team is as talented as anyone, and they are underachieving. Doesn't seem reasonable bc he wins 80% of his games. Wilbon says it doesn't seem reasonable either. Says fans think it's their birth right to win 10 or 11 games. Blah blah blah all about the quarterback position.

Le Batard seemed to think it would be sort of justified, but the buyout is ridiculously high.

yeah I'm watching now.

I was surprised for and LSU/Miles topic to be on. It's number 3 on the PTI rundown. crazy

Considering this week's melt, ESPN will be running this in the ground all week.

The buy out is 15 million over 8 years per Matt on AFR. That's less than 2 million a year. Very affordable.

If we give him 15 mil, he retires, and we get Jimbo, then this will all have been worth it.

This guy is the epitome of getting ripped off.

It's not a lack of fire; Les simply doesn't know how to do better. He doesn't get the job done because he simply doesn't know how.

ugh you are making me agree with BeeFense.

there is a reason the saying goes "talk is cheap"

Rabalais can say that this year feels different all he wants (which he does, without a scintilla of concrete proof, so kudos to him in getting people to believe a rumor he started), but unless someone backs up a dump truck of cash on Stadium Dr. in the next 60 days, you may as well get used to the thought of Miles being on the sidelines next season.

I know another fan base that demands perfection and they get what they wish for. Why do we have to demand less? LSU is as entitled to championships as Bama is.

He will be here next year for sure. There is no doubting that. If we completely screw the pooch next year, they need to get rid of his arse. Surely no one disagrees with that here.

There's only one team in the SEC that has more talent and is obviously better coached than us, and that's Alabama. So yes, we Should win 11 or 12 games every year. Losing to Arkansas is not acceptable IMO.

Poor Les Miles and those nega-tigers that want him gone. they ACT AS IF HE's had players like OBJ,Jarvis Landry,J Hill,B LaFell,B Logan,M Brokers. They act as if he's got more guys in the NFL than any other University. If Miles would have only had that kind of talent HE WOULD HAVE WON 5 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS IN A ROW!!!!! BOOK IT

You serious Clark? He's the worst!

As someone who drives around most of the day, he actually makes me miss Cowherd.

And SVP while I'm wishing!

4 million a year and loaded with talent team should do that. Hoping this lights a fire is as dumb as hoping the team can be motivated to win.
