It is hard to compare them because each sport is different but it seems like the level of frustration from Tiger fans is across the board.
Our fan base needs to relax and enjoy this run. We have never been the UCLA or Alabama of one sport, never. Those schools have a history that we do not.
LSU has something special finally and I just wanted to put this up here.
That being said, Johnny Jones has got to go! He is not the answer for us.

He'll be fired after the epic choke job this year

You should probably consider offing yourself. Just saying. You have an IQ of 76

1 of these three is not like the other.
Baseball?

Have you ever heard of LSU baseball?

Well gosh I guess we should just mail it in and quit trying then
And I know people have pointed if out already but LSU baseball under Bertman had probably the most dominant run in the history of college sports. So there's that

I stand with Paul 100% even with the early exits the past two years. But, everyone can agree Jones needs to go. :geauxtigers:

Agreed, miles and maineiri's record speak for themselves. Jones is nothing more than a five and dime hire.....it's time lsu hires a great coach to awaken the sleeping giant. Not a mediocre coach with barely a .500 winning percentage from a directional school.

LSU baseball pretty much is Alabama football or Kentucky basketball...

Even Alabama football and Kentucky basketball were relatively down before Calipari and Saban took over. Being the premier program doesn't mean you're going to win the most every season. It just doesn't work that way. College sports are still cyclical. Besides, LSU baseball has been a top 8 national seed 4 years in a row. I would say we're a national title contender year in and year out. That's pretty much all you can ask for... It's kind of a crapshoot in the postseason even though some fans don't want to hear that.

Yep there's UCLA basketball, USC baseball in the 70's (but arguably the competition was much less then), and Tiger Baseball.

Baseball is a little different from football and basketball. In football and basketball, you can win with more talent (usually...). In baseball, the one with more talent doesn't always win. (Remember Fresno St)? You are one hanging curveball away from taking a loss. I've never questioned CPM's decisions on the field very often, with the exception of leaving Lange in the 9th last year against ULaLa. I think CPM always has more talent than his opponent on any given day.

also, again, the football team is still underachieving..
imagine a better coach all this while with this much talent.

LSU is seriously underachieving in all 3 sports. It's no surprise that Jones is your selectionvwhen all 3 suck.
