Forever will be grateful for Les Miles at LSU, but the game has clearly passed him by, and his ignorance is a detriment to LSU's program. I've enjoyed the quirkiness of Les Miles, I don't enjoy the embarrassment. When a coach makes such enormous cash, the product needs to fit the pay, it clearly doesn't.

Les is very likeable, a good man and a great recruiter.
As much as I like him, he is a liability to LSU football as its head coach ( and , no, don't even think about him as an AD at a major school).
It will be costly to replace him, and will create a setback in recruiting etc.
But it will cost us more if we dither over what must be done.

Been a fierce Les Miles supporter since Katrina, but I refuse to wear the same blinders Miles does when it comes to LSU football, I no longer have the stomach for it.

Enough is enough!
Les is a great man but he can go earn 5 million somewhere else for that...we need a Fukn real football coach!

Great guy. Great family man. Mediocre football coach. F*King Alexander would have Les Miles coaching his football team and Nick Saban raising his kids.

I don't see it causing a setback in recruiting at all. Look, lsu recruits itself. We happen to be the only big fish in one of the most talent rich ponds in the country. Les miles recruits good don't get me wrong but so will the next coach. This is one of the reasons why the lsu job is so appealing to coaches. As long as lsu is playing football there will always be an abundance of talent here to work with. So forget about that part of your worries...Lsu will recruit just fine.

And have Petrino dating his teenage granddaughter if he had a teenage granddaughter.
