I've heard opinions that if we go 10-2 Les is probably safe. 9-3 is iffy and anything worse and he is gone. I think the Miss St game is very loseable considering our Oline and their Dline. We very well could have 4 losses after Bama. Does Les finish the season out if that happpens or do you think we go with an interem coach?

IMO, after unfortunate losses to Auburn and then at Florida, an interim coach will be in order.

If we lose that many and Miles is out, I'd pray (even though I know it wouldn't happen) that the entire team would stay just to show how truly great and dominant they could be under the watch of a different coach.

We win the SEC, lose in the national championship game, and this board melts when he is retained.

What about a bad loss this weekend?

I don't know if he'd survive that.

Not predicting that at all, FWIW, and I'm rooting like hell for us to run the table.

Yeah, I just don't see this offense going into the Swamp and JA and moving the ball to score enough points to win.

We aren't losing this weekend so everyone's gonna have to wait a while to see.

Les Miles doomsday scenario

I am not giving up on this team. If DE can literally be a game manager we will win a lot of games. We have skill at every position and with just decent numbers from the QB position and the heart of a Tiger these kids will be a real threat to win each and every time they step on the field!

As much as he needs to go, LSU may need to take time and get a great coach. There are no Urban Meyers or Nick Sabans waiting for the phone to ring. Kiss an assistant frog that may turn into a prince? Eh, might work, might not.My guess is we will make a run at the U. of Houston coach.

Spread is -15 to -13.5.

If this game goes 27-28 and we squeak out a win Miles is fricked.

My wish is that Les wins 9-10, and rides off into the sunset.

I've watched this team, and at this time it looks like we will drop a couple more,at least

In my hypothetical, Les is gone either way, and we should be pulling for the team like every game is the A&M game from last year.

I refuse to hope for losses to insure that Les is let go, and I genuinely want him to go out a winner.

It's to late. He is already done. The team has quit on him and the Brink's truck is fueled up and ready.
