Couldn't sleep last night and decided to watch highlights from the 2012 season as well as the 2013 season. I don't think we truly realize how big of a hire Cam Cameron is for this program. The play calling from the 2012 to 2013 season was extremely more unpredictable. Cameron really knows his stuff and I can't wait until this program really excel's to the top with this wonderful 2014 recruiting class. Cam is going to change this whole program around and I know that is crazy to say but I think it's pretty reasonable to say.

Thanks Les for such a great hire. Can't wait to see what Cam does with all that talent in the backfield ( Fournette, Malachi, Quinn, Dural, Magee, B.Harris, ect). Going to be too easy for Cam with all this talent!

The only ones that don't realize this are retarded. He was a huge hire. Not only in the play calling, but in the development of the QB. Look at the progress Mett made from 2012 to 2013. Not even comparable.

I think there are much easier ways to say this.

Anyone who follows recruiting knows how big a hire it was. Cameron has 100% turned us around on offense. People in the NFL and college see him as a guy that can develop and prepare offensive players better than anyone in college football right now.

This. He is a huge hire in name alone. His progress with our offense last year just proves he was a great hire.

Cam Cameron is an NFL name and everyone respects him. Just look how many interviews he does with ESPN, the NFL network and so on. He is respected by all.

I think it will be more noticeable this year how CC is a major upgrade. W/O him this is an 8-4 rebuilding year but I have a feeling that may not be the case.

He's a little younger than Les and I could see Cam taking over when he decides to retire.

How much of this was Cam and how much was a normal progression for Zach who finally got a second year of play in the SEC throwing to two future pros?

The story of Cam at LSU will be better told this season.

I think we need to temper our expectations this year. He is having to rebuild at all skill positions and even the best O coach at any level would have a tough job ahead. Interested to see the magic CC can work next year.

It's been well-documented that Mett and Cam basically lived in the film room for a year. Mett had one class his last semester and essentially became Cameron's understudy. I'm sure some of it was Mett's natural progression, but Cam had a HUGE influence.

Well, I saw plenty of people on here (albeit probably tards) saying Mett should have been benched and that Rivers should have played in 2012 and in 2013 the consensus on here is that he's one of the best QBs to ever play for LSU.

That isn't what I would call a "normal progression" from a fourth year junior to a fifth year senior. Cam did a lot for Mettenberger in that one year and there is absolutely no debate on that.

I don't think this year will tell a better story. We are dealing with all freshmen/sopohmores with little to no experience. They may be raw and progress under his tutelage during the course of their entire career at LSU.

I place a lot of value in what the knuckle-draggers on this site have to say about Cam Cameron, you better believe that.

I hate you.

But I will bite.

Ole Miss was Mett making horrid decisions. UGA our offense played LIGHTS OUT. Our offense downright dominated. Too bad theirs dominated even more.

Bama is Bama. Not many offenses do well against them.

If you can't see how much better our offense is with Cam Cameron with just 1 year of transition, you are a fricking moron. He is one of the most respected QB coaches in the game and has completely rebuilt our offense into a well oiled, unpredictable machine.

2 1,000 yard WRs, 1,000 RB, and 3,000 yard QB.

Bingo! In order...

1. Cam
2. The offensive line improvement was dramatic
3. Mett naturally developing
4. Landry and Odell becoming better

He was joking about how people automatically assume Les is "meddling" when the offense struggles at all and whenever it does well, it's because Les is letting Cam run the show.

ETA: I think
