I am clearly not a Miles fan, but people need to accept that for better or worse, Les Miles will coach LSU for the foreseeable future thanks to the geniuses in our AD.

Miles is owed a buyout of $15 million+ if fired in either of the next 2 seasons. It's not happening.

That said, just learn to be content with seasons like this one or last year. This will be the norm barring some kind of major change.

Maybe Jerry Jones will want him.

Sorry that your idol's teams are looking mediocre, but Les has shown only once since 2007 to bring a complete team that is championship caliber and his flaws resulted in a wasting of that season's success.

In the end, I think Les is a middle of the pack coach and his recruiting benefits from LSU's name have declined since 2007 overall with the 2009 class withstanding.

Fact of the matter is that there is strength in numbers and the fans have more control than Miles. When people quit going to the games then the school will get rid of his sorry arse. Chances of LSU fans not going to games are slim though....

The A&M attendance this year will be interesting.

We're not finishing worse than 9-4.

That's being mighty optimistic. Given the direction Auburn is moving, we may be no better than 4th in the West next Year. Might struggle to become Bowl Eligible.

We have a good shot to lose to A&M and should win Arky. The bowl game is a toss up seeing as LSU in 1-3 in bowl games since 2009.

Sorry, but Les having time to prepare doesn't mean jack anymore.

If you find yourself in Vegas don't put money on an LSU NC next year. My crystal ball told me that.

I'm not so sure.
Another season like this, and Miles and Alleva might be gone

So we lost to Alabama. Who hasn't? Doesn't make him a bad coach. Saban has truly separated himself so we can quit the comparisons and appreciate the success he's given us at LSU and the future success. He's a good man.

Not going to happen. Les isn't leaving $15 Million on the table, and he's proven money is important to him with the games he's played to get raises and extensions the past 3 years.

Also, LSU is not going to pay a $15 million buyout anytime soon. Even after 2015, it likely remains at something like $11.25 million.

Just accept what this team will be.

The crazy thing will be if LSU somehow doesn't manage to get a top 4 or 5 recruiting class this season with all the in state talent, which is possible if players waiting to commit choose else where.

Les's norm as you call it, is better than any coach in LSU history. Only one defensive starter returning and LSU will still go 9-3 any program in the nation will take that are run.
