Anybody else surprised Neal is projected so high? Small body of work & doesn't have the prototypical measurables

I want whatever this guy is smoking.
02. Leonard Fournette
09. Malachi Dupre
10. Lewis Neal
28. Davon Godchaux
32. Ethan Pocic
This person is undervaluing the value of good OLinemen. He only has 2 OT's in the first round.

I dont care what Fournette goes, the fact that 3 LSU players are projected in top 10 and 5 in 1st round shows how talented this team is.

I get that, but if your line sucks a player like LF will have no impact. Usually teams that are picking at the top of the draft have one of three things in common, sorry arse o-line, d-line, or crappy QB play.

A healthy LF goes No. 1 overall in 2017.

i think they will use that skill to exploit bama's defense.
ahem...lets keep that on the dl...

They will be super disappointed when Neal measures at 6'0 even at the combine. I love the guy, and I think height is. Stupid thing to look at sometimes, but it's the NFL we're talking about. They LOVE measureables

Sticking with top five. But if you have a shot to get him how do you pass?

barring any injuries problems, he should definitely be #1 pick.

I'm at school, so who is number 1?
Posted on 11/2/15 at 12:07 pm to arcalades
The best player in the draft will sometimes not go #1.
Back to the gurley comparison, if you are a team in the top 5, you easily draft a RB if you reasonably believe he will produce like gurley is right now.
He wont go #1 IMO, but he'll be top 5 barring a serious injury. But remember, AP went #7. Many of the league's best backs today weren't drafted in the 1st rd. Fournette will get his opportunity.

Smoking that good good
New Orleans Saints: Brad Kaaya, QB, Miami
Miami
2016 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 10/30): Tyler Boyd, WR
The Saints are going to need to find a replacement for Drew Brees in the near future. It remains to be seen if Garrett Grayson is viewed as that in New Orleans.
Sources say that they think that Kaaya has the potential to become a breakout star in 2015 or 2016. To start this season, Kaaya has completed 61 percent of his passes for 1,846 yards with 10 touchdowns and two interceptions. He completed 59 percent of his passes for 3,198 yards with 26 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 2014. The 6-foot-4, 209-pounder has a good physical skill set and has displayed some pocket-passing ability to go along with poise.

Often the best player in college that year is not the first pick of the draft. Teams select by need. That's why these projections are so worthless. No one knows their need a season and a half in advance.

All I know is if that thing is anywhere close to accurate, and the Saints take Brad Kaaya with a top 10 pick, I will be heading to NOLA to ax murder Loomis. That is a total load of crap, though seeing 5 LSU Tigers in the 1st round would be sweet haha

Lewis Neal= Elvis Dumervil which means he's gonna ball out.

List is complete shite. 3 RBs in the top ten, lol. No OLinemen in the top 15, lol. Worst list I have ever seen. The only thing right about it is Leonard and Myles Garret are top 5 picks.

RBs aren't valued as much anymore but if Gurley can be drafted where he was hurt I don't see why this is out of the question.
Agreed.
Keep in mind the ebb and flow of football. RBs and a grinding running game will come back. Panthers are built that way and are others.

Pretty much every Mock Draft I've seen for 2017 has Kaaya in the top 5. They seem to think he will improve significantly over the next 2 years.

Saints at 7 is horseshite but if they do, let it be M. Dupre

That site has a horrible track record, they had Tyler Wilson going #1 overall at one point. He wasn't drafted in the Top 100.
Someone linked last month and they had a OLineman fall 20 spots in the first round on a bye week.
