Saturday night in Death Valley.

LSU vs Alabama.

Down 17-10 in Overtime, 1st and 10 from the 25.

The best 2 programs in college football.

Everything on the line.

This is what Leonard Fournette came to LSU for.

This is why you recruited him for 6 years.

This was Leonard's time to put Louisiana on his back.

No touches.

If the first down play would have been caught we'd have been fine. But once we got to 2nd and 10 we had to start throwing.

Why did we have to start throwing? We still had 3 downs to make 10 yards. Run the ball, pick up 3 or 4 and make the next 2 downs manageable.

I wonder if he got hurt, on the KO return?

Probably still feeling the effects of getting knocked the f*** out on the KOR at the end of regulation.

I've said it all year, it's stupid to have your leading tailback returning kicks. It's too easy for him to get lit up and potentially hurt.

it's a team game man. if we'd have given him the ball and he got stuffed (again) you'd have been bitching about boring play calling.

we called good plays in OT. said plays were not executed, including yet another key dropped pass.

Dead wrong. 3rd and 6 or 7 is much better than 3rd and 10. 4th and 2 or 3 is MUCH better than 4th and 10. Abandoning the run there was stupid.

We could have kept with our gameplan in the ot.

Why would a staff deviate from the only thing we are good at when the game is on the line? There was no game clock that forced us to pass.

Why was he not in backfield on first down after the Yeldon fumble.

He was stumbling on the sideline. Kid may be concussed.

this was critical. If the guy had caught a very easy short pass, he would have rambled for a while...the rantards would be saying great call.

Even after the drop we had 3 plays to get 10 yards.

Don't abandon the gameplan in overtime. Simple.

Yeah, and we could have surprised them by running out of shotgun or doing a delay draw. But alas, our play calling... That 1st down call was a great call though. The player didn't make the play though.

1 good call out of 4 doesn't cut it.

I thought not having him in after the fumble at the 6 was worse.
