He should give one after his first TD in the Wiscy game. Set the tone for the season. I know he's not about individual awards and wants a natty and all that, but I think it would be an epic statement to start the campaign off this year and it would also remind us of how far he has come in two short years since he popped one off on Sam Houston State.

The only time Leonard should do that pose this year is IF the trophy is handed to him in New York.

My inside sources tell me he is going to strike the pose on his last TD as a tiger. In the NC game after he already won the Heisman of course.

Would that be excessive celebration?

Yes but it won't matter because we'll already be up 14 vs either Stanford or Michigan.

I will say this: I was at the WVU game where Patrick Peterson struck the pose after his punt return TD and it was awesome. The whole stadium went insane.

really, really, really dumb idea. I blasted Fournette for his pose, but he's been a model player since then. No need to do that nonsense again. Just play, kick arse, and let the awards flow in at the end of the year. No self-promotion required.

exactly. Act like you've been there before, and expect to be there again, many times over. Just like Herschel and Barry Sanders.

No he shouldn't. However, I'm all for him doing it after he wins the Heisman and pops the pose in the NC game.

That's worse.

Once you've won the Heisman, you've reached the pinnacle. Why the need for any self-promotion - the trophy is already his.
