Sorry if it's been posted, but I did actually search......

But what's up with these new accusations coming from Hebert and Blackwell about Saints personnel watching practices and relaying info to Bama coaches?

This from another site....

quote:

He was talking about how worked up he got about the loss in the national championship last night because of so new info he learned. He went on to talk about how the saints staff worked with Bama last year leading up and having that access smells funny.
We all knew that Greg Williams consulted with Saban but T-Bob said the saints staff could have viewed LSU practices in the dome and relayed info etc... Said he was going to investigate further.

Will Blackwell ?@WillyB60
Counting down until the rematch. I think as long as Gregg Williams hasn't been watching LSU practice this week the tigers will pull it off!

Nb4 to the lurking Bama fans come and post "excuses." like they've been trying to justify their schedule this year. "We've completely demolished everyone!" as if 10 other teams in the country wouldn't be undefeated with that schedule.

LOL!
So what the hell could hey have possibly given to Bama that would have mattered?

Based on our pathetic offensive game plan, it might have hurt Bama since we supposedly ran all of these great plays in practice all during the month of December, but used none of them.

You can use that argument, sure.....

But if someone knew the gameplan, wouldn't it make for a gameplan to look pathetic?

So, does this mean that he could possibly be apologizing to Les for being such a dick after the game?

Oh, and I hope Gregg fricking Williams gets hit by a train.

Legit accusation.....maybe. Just doesn't ring true to me.

Do agree it would be really fricked up if true though.

This. I doubt Saban needed the genius of Gregg Williams to figure us out.

Oh yeah, and Saban is a Belicheck disciple, I don't think he is above spying on a practice. He probably leaned from the best.

I've heard rumors of some other things the Bama staff pulled before that game

Pretty screwed up if true.

I'm surprised no one mention bounties yet.

I don't think that the New Orleans staff relayed practice info to Saban. We had all heard that Saban met with Williams during preparations, but I don't think it went any further than that. However, nothing would shock me with Saban. When he was with the Dolphins he used audio equipment to steal the audibles and cadence of Tom Brady, and it led to a Miami victory. When we played Oklahoma in the 2003 National Title game, Nick had LSU personnel hiding in the suites watching Oklahoma's practices in the Superdome. I don't think Oklahoma practiced more than once or twice in the Dome, but Saban was watching.

Again, if any of this is true, you're basing your assumptions of a gameplan that was relayed to the opposing team?

If your gameplan was given away, of course it's going to look terrible.

Not sure what's hard to figure out about that one.
